GPF No Pitch Zone Agreement:

The GPF Conference maintains a no-fundraising zone to create a safe space for donors, foundation leaders and social investors to have candid peer-to-peer conversations around best practices in philanthropy. Please note that we prioritize decision makers who lead efforts at their institutions around grant making and giving funds. GPF is not intended for individuals who hold fundraising or marketing positions.

GPF Support:

Here at GPF we are able to serve as a resource and platform to the philanthropic community thanks to our members and supporters. GPF is funded by foundations and philanthropists who serve as strategic advisors and co-creators in our programming and we couldn’t fulfill our mission without them. If you are interested in becoming a GPF member check out our membership page on our website and contact Megan Wenger at mwenger@philanthropyforum.org or +1.415.293.4633 with any questions.

Safety Protocols

We follow best practices laid out by the CDC and state and local guidelines. San Francisco no longer requires people to show proof of vaccination or a negative test to enter businesses or large indoor events. The mask mandate has also expired.

Based on these guidelines we strongly recommend up-to-date vaccination for participants attending GPF but we will not require participants to show proof of vaccination.  Masks are also optional and we will provide masks at the conference for those that would like one. We will continue to closely review public health guidelines and update our safety protocol as necessary. If you have any questions or concerns please contact info@philanthropyforum.org.

The Commonwealth Club is an LEED Gold-certified building designed to cool with outside air, using digitally controlled moveable windows and large ceiling fans. They also deploy additional HEPA filters inside to scrub the air in addition to increased cleaning of surfaces throughout the building.
Visa Information

International GPF participants and speakers are expected to secure their own visa to gain admission into the United States. Depending on your country of origin you may also be required to also obtain a transit visa if you fly through a connecting airport. Please consult the Consular section of the U.S. Embassy or any other relevant country embassies at your earliest convenience in order to avoid any last minute delays. Should you need a letter confirming your participation at the GPF Conference please contact Megan Wenger at mwenger@philanthropyforum.org or +1.415.293.4657.
